Château de Germigney invites you to its wine cellar for a unique wine-tasting experience. In this stunning setting at the Relais & Châteaux hotel, you will be welcomed personally by the House Manager, the sommelier or another member of the Château de Germigney family.
Enjoy this other worldly experience: be guided by expert advice and let the names of Poulsard, vin jaune, crémant du Jura and vin de paille transport you. The journey begins with the well-known and widely produced Chardonnay and Pinot Noir wines, along with the lesser-known but equally intense grape varieties which are typical of the Jura region. Poulsard, which has been grown in Franche-Comté since 1386, produces wines with a wonderful aromatic subtlety, while Trousseau has a remarkably long finish. Savagnin is used to make vin jaune. You’ll be surprised as you find out more about the very best that the Jura region’s vineyards have to offer.
